Getting started with Tumby
Tumby is designed to be simple: open the app each day, see your child's food mission, try it at a meal, and tap how it went. That's the whole loop. Here are a few tips to get the most out of it.
How do I add my child?
During setup, you'll be asked for your child's name, age, and the foods they already eat. You can add more children anytime from the child switcher at the top of the Today screen.
What if my child refuses the food?
That's completely normal — and it still counts! Tumby rewards every interaction, even just looking at or touching a new food. Research shows children often need many gentle exposures before they'll take a bite. Keep going, stay calm, and celebrate the small steps.
How do I flag allergies?
You can mark known allergies for each child during setup or later in Settings. Tumby will avoid suggesting foods that conflict with flagged allergens and show a warning. Always confirm with your pediatrician before introducing common allergens.
How do I manage or delete my data?
Open Settings in the app. You can reset a child's progress, delete a child, or delete your entire account and all associated data at any time.
